Programs

Our church life is centered around Sunday morning worship and our children’s religious education program.  We have two Sunday worship services from September through May, at 9 and 11 a.m., and children's religious education classes are also at 9 and 11 a.m. From June through August there is only one service, at 10 a.m., every Sunday.  After each worship service we have a time of casual conversation and coffee.

Our minister leads most of our Sunday worship services, but one Sunday a month is a lay-led or guest minister service, and we also have intergenerational services at holiday and other times during the year.  The children are also in the 11 a.m. service for the first fifteen minutes twice a month, and they periodically have a children’s chapel service on their own.

We have a number of special interest groups, including:  choir, bridge, humanitarian, religious study, feminist book group, gastronomical society, interweave (glbt issues), gardening, young adults, and an adult discussion group that meets Sunday mornings from 10 - 11 am during the summer.

There are over 20 active committees which address various aspects of church life:  worship, membership, social action, finance, religious education, property, pastoral concerns and many more.

Please be sure to see our calendar for upcoming events.

Feel free to look at our by-laws (in PDF, in Word), constitution (in PDF, in Word) and church organization as well (in PDF, in Word).
